Lost Bean | neon-splashes
Dog firmly on the leash, she started off again, holding tiny Edward in her free hand, closer to her body as though to balance him. She walked as smoothly as possible, unwilling to make the little-bean’s ride unnecessarily bumpy.
“Hmm? Nice,” she echoed with a small chuckle. “Well, I guess I try to be… How about you? Are you hungry?”
Small as the creature was, she imagined it was difficult for him to find enough food to feed himself comfortably. That, combined with how much difficulty he’d had just crawling into her palm made her think it had been a while since Ed’s last meal.
“Nice!” bean Ed insisted knowingly. He remained in Sam’s hand, feeling pretty comfortable with the way she handled him. The little creature was partial to remaining close to the girl as she continued to walk.
The topic of food caused the bean’s eyes to light up. Bean Ed’s stomach also growled befittingly in that same instant. “Y-Yhhh-Yes!” he insisted. The little one already had a favorite food, too, but he was not entirely certain of its name. “Hhh-Hot…” he began slowly. “Kuh….” he tried to finish. Bean Ed continued to think hard. How did the rest of that go? He could envision the light, fluffy, buttery food in his head. They came in big circles and usually had sticky syrup on them. Sometimes, the delicious circles were even in stacks.

Edward is a magical, baby bean! He is so small that he can fit in your pocket, but please do not call him small! It upsets him! Since he is so young, he needs plenty of guidance. Edward cannot speak properly yet. In fact, he basically needs to learn everything. Will you help raise him? Or will you leave the baby bean out to dry?
